This beautiful family on a lovely spring afternoon in Brea, California! So much fun!
Baby Kate turned one month old last week and I got to spend a wonderful time with her and her awesome momma and daddy! Such a beautiful family with so much joy and tenderness.
This is such a wonderful family! My husband and I have had the joy of serving in youth ministry with Louis and Elise in the past and now we get to wish them well as they journey to the other side of the U.S.! This entire family truly is a gift to our community and the people around them and I was so happy to spend my morning capturing them all together before Louis, Elise, and little Jack follow God’s call to North Carolina.
It is such a privilege when I get to photograph a family as they grow! Two years ago I spent an afternoon with teeny little Kate and now she is a big sister! The Shaffer family always makes my job easy because they make some darn good looking kids! Thank you again Mike and Jill for our friendship and the chance to capture these precious stages of your life.
The holidays are here and it seems to be baby season too! So many adorable new little ones. The Miller family and I got to spend a lovely day at Irvine Ranch Historical Park with handsome little Dalton. As always, it was such a privilege to join this lovely family for an afternoon. At only 2 months old, he was wide-eyed by the sky and the trees and cracked a few grins for me too!

I truly enjoyed getting to photograph another beautiful family and precious little one! Heidi was a sweetie and took a liking to me too! Here is a preview of the session.

It was so much fun photographing this sweet little girl! Newborn sessions tend to be my favorite. Not to mention the ridiculously cute nursery design that momma Jill put together. But more than anything it was clear that these first time parents are head over heels in love with their new little joy. Loved spending the afternoon with this family!
With the holiday season upon us I get another excuse to photograph one of my favorite little girls and dear friends. We got to tromp around Hill Crest Park and end our time with Lily’s favorite, the slide! But my favorite is most definitely the finger up the nose shot!

Ok, I know I’m a dork, but seriously, this little girl will make your insides hurt, that’s how cute she is! I know I am a bit biased since I am her “auntie” but I have never been around such a photogenic baby. Oh, Megan and Jason didn’t do too bad either. So I hope you enjoy this session with Lily, Megan and Jason—I did a little too much!

I am excited to be getting involved with a program called Operation Love Reunited. It allows photographers to donate sessions to families with a member in the service. We can capture their deployment or homecoming and send them photos while they are away. Last week I went down to San Diego for my first OpLove session with Ashley and 3-month-old baby Jack. Husband and Father, Cody, is away on a Navy ship until next summer and little Jack is getting bigger each day. It was such an honor to be able to capture Jack and Ashley so daddy won’t be missing out! I look forward to the summer when I will be photographing his homecoming. Here is a glimpse at lovely Ashley and bright-eyed little Jack.
